Digital Preservation Definition Now Available

The definition of digital preservation that was recently approved by the Association of Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS), a unit of the American Library Association, is now available in a 2 page printer friendly PDF version.

If you will be attending the upcoming American Library Association Annual conference in Anaheim, CA in late June, please join a 10 minute discussion on the next steps for the definition. The discussion will take place at the Preservation Administration Discussion Group (PADG) meeting. PADG will be held on Friday, June 27th in the Marriott Salon H-K. The PADG meeting starts at 1:30pm. The discussion of the definition is scheduled to start at 2:30.
