Library branch lost during Hurricane Ike

Posted by Laura on 16 September, 2008 in Uncategorized

A temporary library facility in southwestern Louisiana’s Cameron Parish was completely destroyed by Hurricane Ike over the weekend. The Cameron branch was a Project first — one of two temporary library facilities to celebrate the return of library services in February 2007. The status of the other branch, located in Grand Chenier, is not known at this time.
