wednesday’s word

Today’s word is Kindle, Amazon’s home-made device which is set out to change the way we read books. Users will have instant wireless access to all books sold by Amazon, and more, regardless of its format (e.g. text, audio), or viewing tools (e.g. HTML, Microsoft Word, images). While gadgets like ipod or iphone are designed to access media online, Kindle is their counterpart to conquer a pure text world. It helps realize our dream to access the whole world’s writings in one carrying pad.
