U.S Ratifies Treaty to Protect Cultural Property during Armed Conflict

In September, the Senate ratified the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict. With this ratification, the United States joins 121 other countries to protect cultural sites, monuments, and collections during armed conflict and miliitary occupation. Conservation Assessments for Museums

The Conservation Assessment Program (CAP) provides small to mid-sized museums of all types, from art museums to zoos, with a general conservation assessment of its collection, environmental conditions, and facilities.
