These tips are taken from the National Hurricane Center’s website (http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/HAW2/english/prepare/family_plan_printer.shtml).  Staff have to make sure that their families are taken care of first before they can think about taking care of their collections.  Although they were written with hurricanes in mind, the tips can be applied to any type of local or regional disaster.
